About The Masters Home of Champions

The Master’s Home Of Champions was founded as a result of the just ended 14 years of civil war in Liberia which claimed the lives of over 500,000 Liberians and left over 50,000 children orphaned, destitute and homeless.   As a result of this crisis, many kids are seen sleeping on streets corners, market tables at night while many others who were used as child soldiers are left alone to make life on their own.

Many of these kids are between ages 7 to 16 and many of them are forced to permanently live on the streets while many of the females are exposed to the risk of prostitution, drugs and etc.

As we began reaching out to these children with the gospel of Jesus Christ through sports, Kidsgames and Christian camps over the years, we saw that in order for these children to be truly transformed we need to take them out of the streets and provide a safe shelter for them where they can become children again and give them a solid education, spiritual foundation and a true sense of belonging.

Indeed, this is the mission of the master’s home of champions: to be a refuge to the orphans, destitute and street children in Monrovia and to truly share the love of Christ with them.  With your support, these kids are given 3 meals a day; provided a solid Christian education, clothing, educational materials, medical checks and a warm bed for each of these 60 kids.

The home is situated in the Rehab Community, Paynesville City, Liberia.

William TUBMAN, president from 1944-71, did much to promote foreign investment and to bridge the economic, social, and political gaps between the descendents of the original settlers and the inhabitants of the interior.  (more)
