Bio of Bishop Emmanuel R Jones

 
Bishop Emmanuel R. Jones
 Born on October 30,1973 unto the Nathaniel Dee and Ceedee Goffa.  Having been left alone by his father and his mother had to look after he and other siblings,Emmanuel begin a street kid at the age of 10 and began sleeping at different streets corners in the city of Monrovia.  
 

Emmanuel earned his education by taking gabage for people by age 14 and pay for his education through this at the Edwin J.Barclay Public School until the war began in December 1989 in Liberia.

I990 while in the refugee camp at the U.S.Embassy compound seeking refuge,Emmanuel saw many horrible things. People were dying in minutes all around him from bullet shoots,hunger,disease-outbreak,missiles lunched by the warring groups.  In 1991 on October 30th,Emmanuel gave his life to Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Saviour.

 

His focus has been the street children and the orphans of Liberia.  Emmanuel understands the struggle the children endure. The pains,the rejection,the hunger and the regret of ever being alive.

He graduated from the Liberia Baptist Theological seminary in 1996 with a Bachelor of Theology(B.Th),earned a Associate Degree in Sports Ministry from The International Sports Leadership School in Stellenbosch,Cape Town,South Africa in 2002,Attended the Athens Bible Institute,Athens,Greece,Europe in 2003 and in 2005 graduated from the International Sports Leadership Training Level1.

 

He founded The Voice of Pentecost Churches in 1996 with 7 churches now planted along with an newly constructed orphanage called:The Master’s Home Of Champion which is catering to 60 orphans presently.  He is also the principal of the Rev.Joseph Holland Christian School and the Voice of Pentecost Kindergarten School in Monrovia. He is married to Ramona Thomson-Jones and she is a teacher and a senior student at the University of Liberia studying Public Administration and Management.  He is the senior pastor of  Life Center in Monrovia,Liberia and the Bishop of The Voice of Pentecost Churches.

 

His passion is reaching orphans and street kids with the holistic gospel of Jesus Christ.
